Corrections and removal requests

We copy CSLB's public file exactly. If something on a license page looks wrong, compare it with CSLB's live record first. Most differences come from CSLB updating a record after its weekly file was generated, and those fix themselves at our next refresh.

What we can do

• Fix a display error that we introduced (for example, a misread date).
• Hide your street address or phone number on your license page.
• Remove the profile page for a sole-owner license. Your license will still exist at CSLB, but it won't have a page here.

We can't change CSLB's data. If CSLB's record is wrong, contact CSLB to correct it, and our copy will update after the next weekly file.

How to send a request

The button opens an email to corrections@contractorlookout.com with your request filled in. Send it from the address you want us to reply to. We respond within 7 days. For removals, we may ask you to confirm you're the licensee, for example by replying from the email CSLB has on file or by calling from the business phone on the record.
