Masonry contractors install concrete block, brick, glass block, natural and manufactured stone, terra cotta and fire brick. Load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls, fences built with or without mortar, thin brick veneer and masonry paving all fall here. Cleaning, clear waterproofing and caulking are included when incidental to the masonry.
CSLB has also moved old D-22 Marble, D-33 Precast Concrete Stairs and D-45 Staff and Stone into C-29. A block garden wall, a stone fireplace face or a brick patio is C-29 work.
