A home service agreement is a contract for a set period to service, repair or replace a home's mechanical or appliance systems when they fail from normal wear or built-in defects. It can also include incidental work on roof leaks. This endorsement is for the company running that agreement.
The holder can't do other contractor work. The law describes the service as provided through a licensed contractor, so ask who is coming to your home and look that contractor up too.
Read the agreement for what it covers and for how long. The state minimums are a $15,000 bond and $100,000 per occurrence in liability insurance.
