Construction Flagging Contractor (CF) license in Oregon

Lets a business supply flaggers who direct traffic on public roads around construction, and nothing else that needs a contractor license.

A flagging contractor employs or contracts with people who control traffic on a public roadway to keep it clear of construction activity. The license doesn't cover any other contractor work.

Businesses with a Residential General endorsement, or any Commercial General or Commercial Specialty endorsement, can do flagging without this license. If your contractor handles traffic control itself, it may not need this one.

The state minimums are a $25,000 bond and $500,000 per occurrence in liability insurance. CCB can't require training or its business test for this license, so ask the company directly about its flaggers' training.
